The function of the back cover of the watch is to fix the movement, prevent dust and water, etc. Mostly made of stainless steel. Characters and patterns can be corroded on the back, and there are generally three ways to assemble it with the case. Press the cover: directly fit the watch case tightly. Screw the cover: both the watch case and the back cover are ribbed and tightened; the screw bottom: the watch case and the back cover are fixed by screws, which are usually seen in square watch cases.

The case protects the watch movement from external dust, dew or vibration, and at the same time provides the watch with a stylish and attractive appearance. Most watch cases are made of 316L stainless steel. The case of famous brand watches is generally made of steel, stainless steel, K gold, platinum, high-tech ceramics (such as radar watches), tungsten titanium alloys and other materials for famous brand watches. The case of the watch is divided by material, mainly zinc alloy case, copper case, steel case and titanium case. The general processing flow of various metal cases is not too different. The main technological processes for producing and processing watch shells are: turning, milling, drilling, grinding and so on.
