October is near, and when it comes to October, the first topic we always talk about is the coming holiday known as National Day of China.
National Day is an important festival used to commemorate the country itself. It usually stands for the anniversary of the country’s significant state, or the independence of the country. According to different occasions of each country, the date and actual name of National Day varies differently. As for China, the National Day falls in October 1st since 1949. Thus every year in October 1st , people would hold great ceremonies in many cities to celebrate the anniversary of our country.
During the National Day holiday, Chinese people will have a 7-day public holiday from October 1st to 7th , which is also known as Golden Week for National Day, to take the time celebrating and enjoying the break.
